Newton University demonstrates commitment to excellent and sustainability with membership of prestigious Business Graduates Association

Newton University is pleased to announce its membership of the Business Graduates Association (BGA), a London-based international membership, accreditation, and quality assurance body for world-leading and high-potential business schools. Based in Prague and Brno, Czech Republic, Newton University has earned numerous accolades, including six consecutive wins of the Faculty of the Year award, voted for by students.

BGA membership signals Newton’s unwavering commitment to delivering a world-class business education. By creating ties with other leading business schools, it paves the way for a rich exchange of ideas in areas such as continuous improvement, innovation, graduate employability, and social responsibility.

It will also provide new benefits to both students and faculty. Students will gain access to an exclusive membership platform focused on international career development services, while faculty will enjoy a greater range of collaborative research opportunities.

Dr Anna Plechatá Krausová, Newton’s Vice Chancellor for International Relations explains, “The doors that BGA membership opens are manifold, yet this is merely the start of our journey to full accreditation. Following the BGA’s Continuous Impact Model, we will not only guarantee a top-tier education for our students but also communicate the high standards of Newton to potential students and employers.”

The BGA is known for its focus on sustainability, a value deeply embedded in Newton University’s ethos. The institution is actively participating in multiple projects aimed at sustainable development. One such is ‘aLIFEca’, an initiative to create a highly specialized course on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) in the automotive sector. Another is the ‘ChemSkills’ project, aimed at transforming the chemical industry through addressing the challenges of green and digital initiatives, circularity, and sustainability.

In parallel with this development, Newton University is proud to unveil a new partnership with Dorset College Dublin. This collaboration is designed to foster cross-border academic exchange and leverage the best educational practices from both institutions.

Plechatá Krausová added, “This is a transformative phase for Newton. By strengthening and expanding our international partnerships, we’re enhancing our ability to equip our students with the tools, insights, and global connections they need to thrive in the ever-changing business world.”
