Webinar: A brighter and more equitable future: inspiring stories from inspiring leaders

Date: 26 October 2021
Time: 12:00 – 13:00 BST

When Giles Lury and Katy Mousinho published their book, Wonder Women: Inspiring Stories and Insightful Interviews with Women in Marketing, they had three objectives:

  • To create awareness of and celebrate women’s success,
  • To inspire others (both women and men) with stories of and interviews with successful women and to highlight the benefits of more ‘feminine’ aspects of thinking and doing, and
  • To encourage all women to recognise, have confidence in, and grow their talents.

But the book is not just about women and marketing. The themes, issues and challenges raised have relevance to men as well as women, to leadership and entrepreneurs as well as brands and marketing. If we challenge the status quo, persuade the more traditional leaders to move out of their echo chambers, to embrace diversity rather than see it as a threat, then we can create better (and more profitable) businesses for everyone.

In this interactive and provocative webinar, Giles and Katy will share some of these amazing stories, highlight and discuss the key themes, issues and challenges, and use your input to determine how we can ensure a bright future for every  in the world of business.
