ESA Business School has officially received joint accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Business Graduates Association (BGA), two of the world’s leading authorities on business education.
ESA Business School is primarily based in Beirut, Lebanon. AMBA accredits the MBA and EMBA at the School, while BGA provides an overall accreditation of the whole School.
All ESA degree programmes are run in conjunction with international partners – including ESCP Business School for the MBA portfolio, and primarily ESSEC Business School for the Bachelor of Business Administration.
As part of the joint AMBA & BGA accreditation, a panel of assessors comprised of senior business school leaders from across the globe evaluated the school. The panel commended the fact that ESA not only benefits from the strong sense of community within Beirut and Lebanon, but actively works to support and harness this community for the benefit of all stakeholders and the region.
The panel also noted that the school’s incubator was an impressive facility which they thought added value to the School and its stakeholders and also has a positive impact on the region. The incubator had benefitted more than 42 start-ups (including 15 green start-ups), 90 projects and 200 entrepreneurs, thus creating 400 jobs locally.
Finally, the panel mentioned the gender diversity at the school, which they thought was a key strength.
AMBA & BGA’s rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre schools which demonstrate the highest standards in teaching, curricula, and student interaction achieve accreditation.
