About Seville

Seville is pure, unadulterated Spain. With its constant supply of sun and spellbinding history, Seville is as splendid and dangerously seductive as ever. Prepare to be mesmerised by the intoxicating mix of resplendent Mudéjar palaces, soaring gothic towers, baroque churches and impossibly narrow medieval lanes. Seville is a veritable melting-pot of cultures. Having absorbed over 3 000 years of rich history, the city’s past is intrinsic to the culture of Spain as a whole, while simultaneously retaining Andalusia’s famously fierce and proud regional identity.

Conference venue: Meliá Sevilla

Meliá Sevilla is placed in the heart of Seville, just in front of the Luisa Park and the Plaza de España, close to the city centre and to the University (Old Tobacco Factory), Alcázar, Santa Cruz Quarter, the Cathedral and the Archives of Indies. The Meliá Sevilla is the perfect choice for business and leisure trips, thanks to its complete and comfortable facilities and to the quality of its services. It is 1.9 km away from Santa Justa Train Station and 9 km from the airport. Seville, the capital of Andalusia, has one of the most ancient historical city centres in Europe, where you can find three monuments that belongs to the World Heritage Sites: The Cathedral, The Archive of Indies and The Royal Alcazar. Its average annual temperature (18.6 ºC), its festivals known worldwide and its gastronomy make Seville a wonderful place to visit.

Due to high demand, we would encourage all our delegates to book your stay at the Meliá Sevilla, as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. AMBA & BGA has negotiated preferential room rates for all our conference delegates at the conference venue for the duration of the event. For more information and to book your stay, please contact Anita Galea.
