Using Virtual Reality technology in the Business School classroom: why and how?

The ‘technological wave’ is so huge that the higher education sector is being challenged by education technology in all parts of the world.

Based on the use of virtual reality (VR) case studies in marketing and supply chain management with thousands of students of NEOMA Business School, France, since 2016, this webinar will set out to explore the challenges and opportunities posed by disruptive technologies in higher education. 

Alain Goudey, Chief Digital Officer (and Full Professor in Marketing) of Neoma Business School will also demystify the genuine value of VR in the School environment and, more generally, the requirements to reach a good level of implementation of digital transformation in Business Schools.

Who is Alain Goudey?

Alain Goudey is Chief Digital Officer and Full Professor of Marketing at NEOMA Business School. He is also Founding Partner of AtooMedia, a sound design agency, and its subsidiary, Mediavea, a retail marketing provider (instore radio and instore tv). 

He graduated in 2001 from IMT Business School where he earned a master’s in management science. 

He was awarded a PhD in management sciences from Université Paris-Dauphine in 2007. Co-author of several books on sensory marketing and digital innovation, he publishes his research in France and abroad in scientific journals such as Recherche et Applications en Marketing, Décisions Marketing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, and Advances in Consumer Research Proceedings. 

He is a regularly sought contributor to major media organisations as: Harvard Business Review, BFM TV, etc. and participates regularly in conferences (TEDx, Microsoft, Carrefour, PSA).
